Financial Accountant / Group Accountant
Let's connect : If you want to experience how things are done in the Group Finance team at our headquarters in Hanover / Germany, join us on a temporary basis for 36 months commencing as soon as possible as a Financial Accountant / Group Accountant .
The position can be filled part-time (at least 30 hours / week).
The ACR team within Group Finance is responsible for regular accounting and handling of payment transactions as well as the HGB financial statements of HR SE and E+S AG.
In addition, the team is responsible for the organisation of Group financial reporting, i.e. the recording, processing and consolidation of data as well as preparation of the reporting itself.
You can look forward to
- Contributing to the preparation of the consolidated financial statement and quarterly financial statements and involvement in the Group forecast and the one- and multi-year planning for the Group
- Providing independent support for reporting units
- Participating in the preparation of the Group financial reports and in internal financial reporting
- Quality assurance of the individual financial statements included in the consolidated financial statement
- Checking and compiling Solvency II packages
- Project work in the areas of financial reporting and process development
You come equipped with
- Completed degree with concentrations in auditing, taxation, insurance, finance or business mathematics
- Good knowledge of IFRS reporting, ideally with an eye to the new accounting standards IFRS17 / 9 and Solvency II
- Experience in the accounting practice of insurance companies and / or Group accounting according to IFRS
- Well-versed in the use of Excel and other MS Office products
- Independent user skills in German and English
- Structured working approach as well as analytical skills
