Our client is a leading energy company with a strong presence in Germany and parts of Europe supplying energy, heating and cooling to customers mainly produced by renewables.

For their location in the outskirts of Berlin, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Project Engineer or Project Developer with a strong background in biogas and renewable energy systems . In this role, you will be responsible for the technical, economic, and administrative development of biogas projects from concept through to execution. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of sustainable energy, evaluating innovative technologies and supporting the future of renewable energy infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities :

• Project development experience with technical and economic concepts for the upgrade and optimisation of biogas plants
• Conduct feasibility studies and profitability analyses in project development
• Design plant conversions and manage the approval process with relevant authorities
• Site securing and lead land use negotiations and secure suitable project sites
• Contract Management in drafting and review contracts, ensuring compliance with legal requirements
• Project Coordination in sourcing and evaluating vendor quotes, identifying optimal solutions for project needs
• Coordinate internal and external project stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient execution in projects
• Developing and maintaining project schedules on key projects
• Evaluate emerging technologies for integration into biogas production systems
• Support continuous improvement by recommending innovative and cost-effective solutions
