TASKS WITH IMPACT

  • Privacy is your passion, and you take #privacybeautiful to the next level.
  • You advise all departments of the German DOUGLAS companies and the DOUGLAS Group on data protection matters, particularly focusing on employee data protection.
  • You ensure data protection compliance during the implementation of IT systems and support local and international projects in areas like eCommerce, omnichannel, or sales.
  • Preparing and maintaining data protection documentation, policies, and processes as well as reviewing data protection contracts is part of your responsibility.
  • You support audits by authorities, prepare risk reports, and provide decision-making guidance for management levels.

YOUR SKILLS

  • You hold a degree in law, business law, or a comparable field.
  • You bring several years of professional experience in data protection – ideally in employee data protection – gained in a corporate, consulting, legal, or comparable environment.
  • A solid understanding of IT-related topics is one of your strengths.
  • You are certified as a data protection officer, and certifications as a data protection manager and / or auditor are a plus.
  • With your team spirit, collaborative working style, and strong communication skills in German and English, you thrive in international environments.
  • You demonstrate a high degree of initiative, independence, and decision-making ability, coupled with excellent planning and organizational skills.
