Supplier Quality Engineer

Tasks:

• Supporting suppliers in the assessment and rework of purchased parts
• Recording and analyzing deviations in purchased parts
• 8D tracking and validation
• Root cause analysis (internal and external)
• Escalation management in collaboration with Production and Purchasing
• Ensuring supplier compliance with specifications and regulations
• Interface function between Purchasing, SCM,
• Project Management, Design, and suppliers

Requirements:

• Completed technical training with further training as a technician or a completed degree in a STEM field
• Several years of technical professional experience or initial experience in the rail vehicle sector
• Independent and self-reliant working style as well as confident handling of common quality, failure analysis, and complaint management tools (e.g., 8D and RCA methods)
• Desirable: Experience with internal and external audits
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills
• Strong communication skills Communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to travel occasionally
• Confident with MS Office; SAP knowledge is desirable
