Project Delivery Manager – Data Centres – Permanent – Frankfurt Our client, a developer of multi-customer and hyperscale data centres in Europe and Asia-Pacific, have an exciting opportunity for a Project Delivery Manager to join their current project in the Netherlands. They have a strong portfolio of constructing world-class critical infrastructure and are chosen time and again for their resilient power and colling, robust securing and sophisticated monitoring systems.
Project Delivery Manager Responsibilities: - Lead, implement and review onsite safety management procedures to ensure compliance to all mandatory and industry standards. Lead safety management process in construction , design and handover to operations teams.
- Identify, track, pursue and close out business and project risks.
- Conduct regular project review meetings with Project and Construction consultants and contractors both on and off site and report to the Group project team on a regular basis
- Assist in the development of the project management systems, procedures, and processes to ensure that external consultants and the internal team interface in the successful completion of the project.
- To implement, and standardise as far as practically possible, highest standards of cost, quality and programme control throughout the design and build phase.
About you: - Fluent in English with vocal and written
- Proficient in the use of MS Project and other MS Office programmes.
- In depth knowledge of general construction building, M&E works, and local authority approval process.
- Health and Safety legislation in particular CDM Regulations.
- Fully versed in PM tools, techniques, and methods.
- Ability to recognise quality workmanship on all levels of building construction
- Substantial experience of working in the data centre and/or construction/ engineering industry.
- Working at senior project management level.
- Delivery of large capital expenditure projects with a high dependence on M&E.
