The Company

An exciting opportunity awaits with a leading developer in the data centre space. As pioneers in delivering cutting-edge data centre facilities across Europe, this organisation is driving innovation and expansion in one of the fastest-growing sectors globally. They are seeking an experienced Construction Director to spearhead the development of a new, high-profile data centre.

The Role

As the Construction Director, you will take full ownership of delivering this critical data centre project. From pre-construction to the final handover, you’ll oversee all aspects of the build. Working closely with key stakeholders, you’ll ensure the project meets both client expectations and the developer’s high standards for quality and innovation.

Based onsite in the Berlin region, you’ll manage the entire onsite delivery, collaborating with supply chain partners and ensuring seamless project execution. In this role, strong client relationship management is essential, as is experience leading major data centre projects with hyperscale customers.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead the full lifecycle of a flagship data centre project, from design and pre-construction to completion.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the client, ensuring all expectations are exceeded.
  • Manage the onsite team and supply chain, driving performance and ensuring the highest standards of quality.
  • Provide strategic oversight, ensuring the project is delivered on time, on budget, and in line with safety and regulatory standards.

What You’ll Need to Succeed :

  • A proven track record in managing large-scale, technical construction projects.
  • Extensive data centre experience, ideally in a client-facing or developer role.
  • A strong background in overseeing projects from design through to completion.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, especially with high-profile clients.
  • German & English language - Fluent.
  • Qualifications : HNC or above in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering, Construction, or Building Services.
