Our client is a successful and well-established international private equity fund, with their entrepreneurial large-cap team looking for an Associate to be based in Frankfurt. The fund has an excellent track record across multiple fund cycles and a strong deal pipeline. They invest in buyouts with a focus on business services, healthcare, and industrials. This position offers a long-term career path in a dynamic environment and within a highly driven team. What the job involves

You will be an essential member of the team with exposure to the full lifecycle of investments from acquisition through to exit
You will be collaborating, influencing, and executing strategic changes across the portfolio companies to build strategic and financial value in close cooperation with management teams
High degree of responsibility from the start, hands-on work and close interaction with the senior team members

Who we are looking for

Great academic record from an established university

Prior professional M&A experience from a top-tier / boutique investment bank, private equity fund or a consulting background

The team is looking for a true team player who prizes culture above self-interest. A candidate who has a growth mindset that thrives on a high level of autonomy and a "sleeves rolled up" mentality.

Furthermore, the upper mid-market segment requires an attitude of understated excellence and high entrepreneurial thinking to successfully engage with management teams.
