Job Location : Berlin

Salary : €4000 + 25% bonus

Languages : German and English

My client is looking to enrich their sales team, and they are now looking for a full-time Social Events Manager who is located in Berlin.

If you have a passion for high end Luxury Hotels and love providing excellent customer service then this role might be for you.

This is what your day looks like

  • Development of creative sales activities and strategies in close coordination with specialist departments such as Sales, Marketing and the Food & Beverage team to achieve the set corporate goals
  • Identifying and acquiring new customers as well as supporting existing customers as well as building and maintaining long-term close relationships
  • Ensuring an innovative and high-quality presentation of the company on the current market, also through regular market and competitor analyses
  • Visiting relevant events and trade fairs
  • Carrying out presentations, hotel tours, sales discussions as well as contract and price negotiations
  • Analyzing the customers' preferences and needs and creating individual, tailor-made offers for all types of social events in their prestigious event spaces as well as restaurants and bars
  • Compliance and implementation of all hotel standards
  • Close cooperation with the Conference & Catering as well as the Food & Beverage team
  • Creating reports and statistics for management
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction and their loyalty

What we want from you

  • A completed apprenticeship or degree in the catering or hotel industry or a comparable qualification
  • At least two years of professional experience in sales, ideally in the luxury hotel industry or in a comparable position
  • Experience in selling social events such as weddings, national holidays, etc.
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English skills, knowledge of a third language is an advantage
  • In-depth sales know-how and strong, sophisticated sales skills
  • Confident use of CRM tools
  • Very good knowledge of common MS Office applications
  • Independent, precise, responsible and team-oriented way of working
  • You have the ability to work ambitiously towards set goals and, if necessary, independently adopt appropriate strategies to achieve the goals
  • You are a brand ambassador and have strong communication skills, as well as strong networking skills
  • Enjoy selling individual solutions for a demanding customer base
  • You have a very well-groomed appearance, a self-confident and professional demeanor and a radiant personality
  • You cultivate attention to detail and your heart beats for sales and the hotel industry
