Role summary :

For the R&D team PE Vacuum SIHI dry & boost we are looking as soon as possible at our location in Itzehoe a dedicated Supervisor Electrical & Automation (M / F / T).

In this role, you will be significantly involved in the software / firmware and electrical hardware design for SIHI dry and Boost products responsible. You will be reporting to the MHV engineering manager.

Your tasks :

  • Coordination and employee development of a global team, which is responsible for all automation- and electrical projects
  • Product development and project coordination of all future software / firmware for the SIHI dry & boost control technology in consultation with the product manager and the engineering manager MHV
  • Lead of the electrical design and qualification of components as part of the product development
  • Lead for the creation of project-relevant documentation (service documentation, training documentation and work instructions)
  • Ensuring support for the respective operational functions (order engineering, commercial operations, quality, supply chain, production, assembly, service)
  • Application of international standards and regulations as part of the electrical and software developments
  • Creation of design FMEAs & risk analysis

Your profile :

  • Successfully completed higher education of electronics, automation technology or comparable qualification
  • Experience in the development of PLC controls with Codesys, microcontroller solutions and fieldbus topology
  • Advanced knowledge in the creation of wiring diagrams / E-plan
  • Advanced knowledge of drive technology (soft starter, VFDs)
  • Experienced use of MS office and SAP
  • Good German and English written and spoken skills
  • Communication skills, leadership skills, high level of personal responsibility
  • Coordination of all development projects between the PE team, GTECs and external resources
  • Open, committed mindset, desire for change and design
