About the FSTM

Your role

  • Conduct research and prepare a doctoral thesis in metabolic network modelling and computational epigenomics
  • Develop novel methods of metabolic network modelling linked to epigenetics
  • Carry out machine learning, and integrative analysis of large epigenome datasets
  • Communicate research results in international conferences and journals
  • Work constructively towards collectively defined research goals together with colleagues and collaborators
  • Contribute to the teaching activities at the University of Luxembourg

Your profile

  • A master's degree in Systems Biology, Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, or related discipline
  • Experience in omics data analysis, in particular in epigenomic and transcriptomic data
  • Previous experience in molecular biology will be an asset
  • Self-motivated, strong commitment, and ability to work in a team
  • Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English are mandatory
