Responsibilities
- Support building a new climate risk solution analysing the physical climate risks of a large universe of listed and unlisted companies
- Apply advanced economic modelling methodologies (e.g. input-output modelling) to build a large database of company revenue disaggregated by country
- Utilize advanced data science techniques to analyse and interpret large datasets related to macroeconomic data (e.g. intra- and inter-country input-output tables, economic activity classifications) and microeconomic data (e.g. company revenue)
- Design, develop, and implement new models using programming languages such as Python or R
- Help develop a seamless and supporting data infrastructure for the project
- Work closely with the product team overseeing the solution development, including economists, actuaries and software developers to ensure high-quality delivery
- Ensure documentation of technical project aspects, including methodology, model and software code
Skills
Strong knowledge of applied economic modelling, including experience working with input-output models (e.g. GTAP, OECD ICIO)Knowledge of trade and supply chain models an added benefitProficiency in relevant programming languages (e.g. Python, R, MATLAB)Experience in economic analysis and processing large datasetsExperience in using data science tools (e.g. Dataiku, Alteryx, KNIME) desirableStrong analytical mind, problem solving skills and ability to think creativelyTeam player with strong motivation for interdisciplinary and intercultural collaborationBusiness fluent in written and spoken English, German optionalIf you are intrested in this role, im looking forward for your Feedback.
