About the Job We're looking for an experienced Facilities & EHSS Manager (f / m / d) to lead general facility operations and ensure the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance in our portfolio’s company's new facility.

In this role, you’ll : Oversee all aspects of facility and equipment maintenance, ensuring smooth operations of essential building systems such as HVAC, elevators, plumbing and more Optimise workspace layout and manage space allocation to meet the organisation’s evolving needs effectively Lead vendor management by hiring and coordinating contractors, including janitorial, electrical, and security services, while negotiating contracts and pricing Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless facility operations Oversee occupational health and safety initiatives, establishing protocols in partnership with TÜV to maintain compliance with German EHSS standards and ISO frameworks Conduct first aid, evacuation, and safety training, ensuring employees awareness and preparedness Manage EHSS audits, implement corrective actions, and enhance emergency protocols Your Profile Five years of hands-on experience in a comparable role within EHSS or facility management Prior experience in EHSS, with an emphasis on workplace safety and environmental protection, is a plus for developing and implementing a robust EHSS strategy from the ground up Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field Fluency in written and spoken German and English Self-starter with strong analytical and communication skills Proactively contribute ideas for continuous improvement Please note that we are looking for support in the Aachen office of our portfolio company.
