Senior Field Application Engineer – LiDAR Systems (EMEA)

Overview

We are seeking a Senior Field Application Engineer to join a rapidly growing LiDAR technology organisation, working closely with cross-functional engineering, sales, and business development teams to support customers and drive adoption of advanced LiDAR products and solutions across the EMEA region.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers, demonstrating the value and capabilities of LiDAR solutions while supporting successful integration.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to define technical requirements and influence both product development and sales strategy.
• Serve as the primary technical interface between customer engineering teams and internal R&D, ensuring clear alignment on product performance expectations.
• Deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, and training workshops, including proof-of-concept and field validation activities.
• Provide field-based support for system integration, troubleshooting, and issue resolution throughout deployment phases.
• Partner with sales and business development teams to prepare technical proposals, respond to RFIs / RFQs, and develop persuasive technical content.
• Create and maintain technical documentation such as application notes, manuals, and training materials.
• Identify opportunities for value-added solutions and help drive technical discussions that accelerate deal closure.
• Conduct on-site customer visits and performance evaluations, ensuring system success and customer satisfaction.
• Build and nurture long-term technical relationships with customers, supporting continued growth and partnership.
