Responsibilities
- Develop and manage detailed 3D BIM models for bridge projects, including structural, geotechnical, and architectural components.
- Coordinate BIM workflows with design, construction, and project management teams.
- Ensure BIM models comply with German standards (e.g., VDI 2552), Eurocodes, and project specifications.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate design changes, resolve clashes, and maintain model integrity.
- Generate accurate project documentation, including drawings, schedules, and quantities, directly from the BIM model.
- Perform clash detection and provide solutions to design and construction challenges.
- Assist in the preparation of tenders by providing BIM-based visualizations and data.
- Stay updated on the latest BIM technologies and recommend process improvements.
- Provide technical support and training to team members on BIM tools and workflows.
- Maintain project documentation and ensure data consistency throughout all project phases.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related fields.Proven experience in BIM modeling for bridge projects, with at least 4 in a similar role.Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Tekla Structures, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and Navisworks.Familiarity with German BIM standards (VDI 2552) and Eurocodes.Strong understanding of bridge engineering principles, materials, and construction techniques.Experience with clash detection tools (e.g., Navisworks, Solibri).Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Fluent in German (mandatory) and English (preferred).Strong communication and collaboration skills.What We Offer :
