Responsibilities
As an Investment Manager at TeamViewer, you will play a crucial role in driving the inorganic growth agenda. You will be responsible for shaping the investment strategy, sourcing investment opportunities, managing investment processes and overseeing the company's investment portfolio.
As part of the Strategic Finance team, you will be involved in corporate finance topics and projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to provide data-driven insights and recommendations that will inform strategic decision-making.
Your primary responsibilities will include :
- Investment Strategy Development : Conduct market research and analysis to identify investment opportunities and trends, develop and implement investment strategies that align with the company's financial objectives and risk tolerance
- Portfolio Management : Monitor and analyze portfolio performance, suggest strategies to maximize returns
- Financial Analysis and Due Diligence : Conduct thorough financial analysis and due diligence on potential investment opportunities, prepare detailed investment proposals and reports for the key decision makers
- Financial Modeling : Develop and maintain complex financial models to support investment decisions and strategic initiatives
- Ad Hoc Analysis : Perform ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as requested by senior management
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Collaborate with various departments, including Controlling, Legal and Product Management to support overall corporate strategy and objectives
- Stakeholder Communication : Communicate investment strategies, performance, and risks to internal stakeholders, Prepare and present regular reports and updates to the key decision makers
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. CFA level 1 / 2 or relevant professional certification is a plus
- Proven experience in investment management, portfolio management, or a related role in a corporate setting
- Strong understanding of financial markets, investment principles, and risk management techniques
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis using Excel
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
