Description and Requirements

IT Support / Helpdesk (m / f / d)

We are looking for an IT Support professional to join our Essen office (on-site) to ensure smooth IT operations and provide technical support.

Responsibilities :

  • Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network issues (on-site and remote).
  • Implement security policies, ensure system connectivity, and manage user accounts.
  • Administer G-Suite, perform software updates, patches, and VLAN changes.
  • Resolve internal customer issues proactively, offering training and troubleshooting assistance.
  • Be the main point of contact for IT activities and ensure proper IT asset management.

    • Requirements :

  • Completed IT education (e.g., IT specialist).
  • 6 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Windows and Linux virtualization, networking (VLAN, ports), and Active Directory.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills (hardware, software, and network).
  • Customer-focused, team player with excellent communication skills in German (written and spoken) and at least B1-level English.
  • G-Suite, PDQ, and Desktop Central certifications are a plus.
  • Additional certifications (A+, Network+, Server+, MCP, CCNA, ITIL) are advantageous.
  • Availability to work on rotating shifts that will alternate periodically : 1st shift 8.00 - 16.30, 2nd shift 10.00 - 18.30, 3rd shift 17.30 - 02.00
