Senior Building Services Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a talented Senior Building Services Engineer  to join our EMEA team, located in Frankfurt, Germany .

In this role, you will work independently on various projects as assigned by a Project Manager or Director of Building Services.

What You'll Do

• Responsible for all HVAC, black utilities, public health services, building management systems, environmental monitoring systems and fire protection systems.
• Assess the requirements of a project, breaks project into tasks and works with Project Managers / Director of Building Services to determine scope of work, budget, and staffing.
• Writes scope of work documents for Mechanical Building Services design based on preliminary review meetings with the client.
• Prepare engineering studies and schematic designs for new systems and analyses the operation of existing systems.
• Work with code officials and other design professionals when an interpretation or exception to building codes / regulations.
• Check progress of work and alerts the Project Manager of scope changes or the need for additional services.
• Reviews contractor technical bids and application for payments.
• Coordinate all aspects of project document completion within company and externally with clients and other design professionals.
• Prepare or reviews construction budgets based on experience and scope of project.
• Assist in the education and development of design staff and act as resource for design questions.
