What your challenges are

In the position of Metal Valorisation and Spent Catalyst Manager (m / w / div) EMEA you acquire new customers and expand existing relationships in EMEA

In your role you valorise metal-containing catalysts and sell spent catalysts

You negotiate supply contracts and long-term agreement and are responsible for the managing of purchase and sale prices

You optimize catalyst and spent catalyst sales and attend trade fairs and conferences

You manage notification procedures for metal containing spent catalyst from customers including create, review and negotiate notification contracts between customers and Evonik

Furthermore you coordinate externally for waste transportations across the EU with external partners and internal with several departments like sales, ESHQ, Supply Chain Management and the production plant

You conduct internal training sessions

In addition you develop new waste transportation concepts within and outside the EU

What we are looking for

You have a degree in environmental management, chemistry, business or a related field

You have several years of professional experience in catalyst trading and / or spent catalyst management

You are business fluent in French, English and German

In addition to strong negotiation and excellent communication skills you have also intercultural competence

Analytical thinking and a passion for innovation are further strengths that set you apart

You are willing to travel for trade fairs and customer visits
