Your tasks

  • You support the test bench measurement technology including the exhaust gas measurement technology in the Nuremberg test field
  • You carry out maintenance, repairs and calibration as well as all necessary homologation-relevant tests on test bench measurement technology
  • You support the planning of measuring equipment
  • You will handle the measurement technology and set it up on the test bench as required
  • You are the technical contact person for test bench measurement technology for the specialist departments and test bench operators
  • You are responsible for documenting the activities carried out

    • Your profile

  • Completed training as a mechanic / mechatronics engineer / electrician
  • Professional experience in the field of engine development or engine testing
  • Several years of experience in the field of test bench measurement technology
  • Several years of experience with AMA i60 / i60 SII / MEXA 7500 exhaust gas measuring systems
  • Several years of experience with Versa FAS05 / Versa 06 FTIR measuring systems
  • Experience with particle measurement technology such as AVL Micro Soot Sensor as well as AVL SPC 478 and NOVA Microtrol
  • Enthusiasm for engine technology and enjoy solving complex problems
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
  • Independent, structured and service-oriented way of working combined with the ability to work in a team and quick comprehension skills
  • High customer orientation as well as strong communication and social skills
  • Good written and spoken English skills required
