Description
Our Power² Trainee Program for Germany aims to jumpstart your career with a unique journey within Hitachi Energy’s various R&D functions. It will take you through three 6-month long work assignments, with the second assignment being an international placement, and then conclude with you establishing yourself in a permanent position with Hitachi Energy. During this journey you will encounter many different business segments and experience career enhancing learning opportunities within our teams.
Your responsibilities
- You participate in electrical design of transformers considering the overall cost-optimal solution
- Interactive simulation activities as electromagnetic, electrostatic and surge voltage
- Participation in the cost-out projects with the aim of reducing costs or increasing performance
- Carrying out measurement analysis to optimize the calculated losses, short-circuit voltages, sound pressure levels and excess temperatures
- Calculate costs and assess risks with you mentor
