SAP Basis Administrator

SAP Basis Administrator (m/w/d) â Permanent â Baden-Baden

I am currently supporting a pioneer the medicinal products industry on their search for an SAP Basis Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis.

Your Tasks:

• You take over the SAP Basis administration of our SAP system landscape (SAP NetWeaver, ECC, EWM, HCM, etc.) and continuously develop it further
• They ensure the stability and availability of the systems through active monitoring
• You support the systems throughout the entire SAP Life Cycle Management (hotfixes, patches, upgrades, releases)
• You are responsible for monitoring the correction and transport systems
• Planning, organization, effort estimation and implementation of technical projects in the SAP Basis environment, usually in collaboration with the application team
• Incident & service management, analyzing and resolving errors within the framework of 2nd level support
• You will take on key project tasks in SAP Basis Administration in the upcoming S/4-HANA project.

Your Profile:

• Completed studies in business informatics, computer science or a scientific course
• Knowledge of SAP NetWeaver, ECC and possibly other SAP solutions
• First experience in S/4HANA, SAP BTP and SAP Fiori is an advantage
• Experience in using the HANA database, optionally Sybase and MaxDB
• Knowledge of monitoring system performance and implementing optimization measures to ensure efficient system operation
• Experience in developing and implementing backup and disaster recovery plans for SAP systems
• Understanding of SAP security concepts, including managing user authorizations, roles and profiles
• Strong analysis and process modelling skills
• Proactive, independent and result-oriented way of working
• Good knowledge of German and English
