Japanese and German Speaking Junior Sales Associate

A Japanese multinational trading company is looking for a Japanese and German Speaking Junior Sales Associate to join their expanding team in Frankfurt, Germany. The focus of this job is to maximize satisfaction from their clients. You will start, working as a Sales Administrator, to learn about the products.

Business proficiency in Japanese, English, and German is required.

Understanding of Japanese corporate culture and etiquette will be advantageous.

TYPE : Permanent, full-time

WORKING HOURS : 8 : 30-17 : 00 from Monday to Friday (flexible working possible)

SALARY : €40-45k

Japanese and German Speaking Junior Sales Associate :

Handling of purchase orders

Logistics management

Representative for any enquiries from customers

Processing orders and FC, input into database

Prepare ・Prepare declaration for government if necessary

Review stock-in goods in database based on warehouse's report

Issue sales invoice, chase overdue invoice

Provide support to accounts during closing month

Discuss with forwarders if any issues occur

Prepare shipment volume report and forecast report for suppliers in Japan

Participate during stock take and solve discrepancies

Prepare stock take report and environment

Prepare quotation for customers

Create monthly profit and inventory report

Present, promote and sell machine parts such as screw bolts and metal parts to existing and prospective customers primarily within the automotive sector

Responsible for customer and supplier, mainly in Asia, correspondence

Request for Quotation (RFQ) to supplier and negotiate with supplier

Prepare quotation to customer and follow up

Visit customers and suppliers, outside of Germany (sometimes in Asia), for any negotiation on technical, pricing, and quality issues

Expedite the resolution of any customer problems and complaints

Develop any projects launched, for example making PPAP, environmental and other documents required by customers, evaluating production processes

Prepare “Monthly Sales Activity” Report to Manager and MD

Make Yearly Sales Plan and revise sales figures plan every 3 months

When deadstock or

Japanese and German Speaking Junior Sales Associate :

Business level fluency in Japanese, English and German

More than 2 years of business experience

Good knowledge of MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Able to travel within Europe and overseas
