For our office in Heusenstamm , we are looking for a Product Development Engineer (m / f / d) to join us at the earliest possible date. You will enjoy the flexibility of choosing your workspace between our locations in Heusenstamm, Oberursel, and Mittelheim.
Product Development Engineer (m / f / d)
Product development of plastic components for pitched and flat roofs
Collaboration in cross-departmental project teams and ensuring project goals are met
Validation of new materials, products, and manufacturing processes
Execution of risk analyses
Technical responsibility for the product portfolio, revisions and further developments
Creation of the necessary documentation and ensuring conformity with laws and standards
Support of the production plants and their quality departments
Collaboration with external certification bodies, institutes and suppliers
Monitoring of general technical trends, as well as the activities of the competition; execution of technical benchmarks
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field
Comprehensive knowledge of plastic materials, properties, and processing technologies such as injection molding, extrusion, and thermoforming
Expertise in designing plastic parts, taking into account material-specific requirements and manufacturing processes
Proficiency in 3D CAD design for plastic components
Strong technical understanding of general production processes and post-processing technologies
Proven experience in managing development projects
Analytical problem-solving skills combined with a structured and independent work style
Team player with excellent communication skills and a high sense of responsibility
Proficiency in English and German (written and spoken)
Valid EU driver's license and willingness to travel regularly to our Mittelheim plant
