simplyblock.io is NVMe-based high-performance low-latency storage for modern databases and IO-intensive stateful workloads in Kubernetes. We help enterprises maximize the efficiency of their data storage operations while reducing cost & complexity.

What are the tasks?

  • Develop and implement machine learning algorithms and predictive models for cybersecurity threat detection.
  • Create large amounts of training data based on storage-workload-generating tools (such as database benchmarking) and ransomware
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and correlations.
  • Design experiments and conduct A / B testing to validate model effectiveness.
  • Develop and deploy a data pipeline and a data model within a constrained environment (C / C++).

Interesting problems you will work on

  • Design and implement detection algorithms to identify anomalous patterns in storage workloads, with a focus on ransomware behavior and security threats
  • Create and validate synthetic datasets for training ML models, ensuring data quality and statistical relevance while maintaining privacy requirements
  • Optimize real-time pattern detection systems within memory and performance constraints using C / C++

    • What's required?

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of machine learning techniques (regression, classification, clustering, etc.)
  • Knowledge of deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch)
  • Python Programming Skills
  • C / C++ Programming Skills (preferred)
  • Solid understanding of statistical analysis and hypothesis testing
  • Experience with data pre-processing (cleaning, consolidation, etc.)
