Automation Engineer (m / f / x) - Beckhoff

Brunnthal (DE) | Research, development, teaching | Work experience

Your Part in our Team :

Conception, programming and optimization of varied PLC projects in fuel cell system construction
Conception and realization of automation systems with Beckhoff controllers or Beckhoff industrial and embedded PCs with TwinCAT3 including HMI
Supervision of projects and systems from the planning phase to final acceptance
Carrying out system tests and test setups
Execution of tests, error analysis and troubleshooting (test and debug) responsible and independent
Creating the development and test documentation for the system

You bring along :

Completed studies in electrical engineering, automation technology, mechatronics or similar branch of study

Minimum 3 years of practical experience with Beckhoff TwinCat 3 or similar PLC systems and experience with PLC HMI

Experience with programming in standards, such as IEC 61131-3 (e.g. Structured Text), using version management (Git)

Knowledge of and experience with common bus systems and corresponding industrial data transmission (e.g. Modbus, EtherCAT, CAN, RS232, TCP / IP, MQTT)

Profound knowledge of safety programming and security best practices

Experience in electrical systems and automation is also required

Willingness to travel occasionally (national and international - max. 20%)

Good German (at least B2) and business fluent English (at least C1)
