TasksSupporting the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (HGB and IAS / IFRS)Determintation, reconciliation and posting of prepaid expenses and accruals as well as other items of the general ledgerMonthly reconciliation of various general ledger accountsCheck of posting proposal lists of parked incoming invoices and payment proposal lists with regard to compliance with external and internal guidelinesHandling of VAt returns & refunds, and statistics for German governmentContact person for questions related to accounting according to HGB and IAS / IFRSPreparing the advance sales tax returnPreparing of account reconciliations and integrity checkingMaintaining Accounting Manuals & CoA descriptions & the correct use thereofCreation of statistics and evaluationsParticipation in cross-departmental projectsSupporting Senior Manager of AccountingRequirementsDegree in business administration with a focus on accounting and / or commercial education with further training as an accountant (IHK), ideally as an international accountant (IHK)Several years of professional experience in the described fieldExcellent knowledge of the accounting regulations according to HGB and IAS / IFRSExcellent knowledge of the MS Office package, especially ExcelExcellent knowledge in working with SAP / S4 HanaVery good written and spoken German and English language skillsPlease bear in mind that it might be a Junior position depending on your professional experience.
