Our client is a well-established, internationally expanding pharmaceutical company with commercial and manufacturing operations across Europe and the United States. With a strong portfolio of high-quality pharmaceutical products, the company partners with leading contract manufacturers and suppliers to ensure reliable product availability in global markets.

As the company continues to scale, they are seeking a Supply Chain Manager to support daily operations, planning, and coordination between global supply partners and internal stakeholders.

Role Overview

The Supply Chain Manager will be based in Belgium and will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of supply chain activities across multiple markets. This role will ensure the smooth flow of materials and products, on-time delivery to customers, and alignment with regulatory and operational requirements. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of pharmaceutical logistics, planning, and supplier management , and will work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure business continuity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day supply planning and inventory coordination for assigned markets and products
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, procurement, and quality teams to ensure timely production and material availability
  • Oversee third-party logistics (3PL) partners and coordinate product shipments to distributors, warehouses, and customers in Europe and the U.S.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels across regional sites, ensuring proper stock levels and avoiding shortages or excess
  • Support S&OP processes by contributing to demand forecasts, supply plans, and capacity reviews
  • Ensure compliance with GDP, GMP, and regulatory requirements across all supply chain activities
  • Track and report on supply chain KPIs, including OTIF (On-Time-In-Full), lead times, and service levels
  • Assist in managing supplier relationships, coordinating purchase orders, and resolving supply disruptions
  • Maintain ERP and planning systems with accurate data and documentation for planning and traceability
  • Identify opportunities to improve supply chain processes, reduce lead times, and enhance operational efficiency

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain or logistics management , preferably within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry
  • Familiarity with GxP, GDP, and international logistics requirements
  • Experience working with 3PLs, CMOs, and international suppliers
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and cross-functional interactions
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar), Excel, and supply chain tools
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in Dutch, French, or German is a plus
