YOUR NEW TEAM

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Offers and Checkout team. Our mission is to empower loan customers through effortless and transparent digital services that are trustworthy and selfserving. We strive to provide a seamless experience from deciding for a loan to formalizing the checkout process ensuring our customers feel confident and in control throughout every step of the way. We are organized in a crossfunctional team with Frontend Fullstack Backend QA and Design roles working closely with our Product Owner and stakeholders.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Develop backend services in a dataintensive distributed environment using GoLang or NodeJS deploying on AWS Lambda and Kubernetes utilizing various other Cloud Products and interfacing with React / Typescript frontends.
  • Work in a team that has a central role in our customer journey and collaborate closely with many other teams for this purpose.
  • Ensure that all services of our offers page checkout route and customer area run with high stability and all journeys are properly funneled and tracked.
  • Take part and proactively drive all the decisions involving the team (goals concepts tools timelines stack etc..
  • Work closely with the Product Owner and UX Designers to plan and continuously conceptualize and develop new features for the teams domain.
  • Involve in the development and maintenance of the teams products end to end in line with our you build it you run it you own it philosophy which also includes DevOps tasks.

YOUR PROFILE

  • You have several years of professional experience with Golang and are familiar with NodeJS (TypeScript).
  • Extensive experience with AWS containerized microservice infrastructures running in an eventdriven environment on Kubernetes or AWS Lambda.
  • You are familiar with the LGTM Grafana stack (Loki Grafana Tempo and Mimir / Prometheus) as well as Terraform for IaC ideally also with Kubernetes.
  • You are passionate about your work and a great communicator always keen on sharing knowledge with the team.
  • You have worked in agile environments in the past; ideally within startuplike companies.

  • Prior experience with CI tools especially transitioning or maintaining pipelines.
  • Professional experience with developing mobile apps or backend for those.
  • Experience with A / BTest setups and tooling.
  • Interest in crossteam / crossfunctional projects is a plus.
