The Process Engineer (f / m / d) for Cytiva isresponsible for our Global DA standard automatedplatformsystem.

Thisposition is part of the Biotech Organization, located in Dreieich, Germany and will be hybrid . At Cytiva, our vision is, to advancefuture therapeutics from discovery todelivery.

Inthis role, you will have the opportunityto :

Designauthority act as global subject matter expert for one or morestandard platform systems. In this role provide the designstandards and technical guidance to other regions and functionswithin the Cytiva Biotech organization.

Provide the technicalelements and interface for the complete product life cycle of thedefined platformsystems.

Analyze customerprocess user requirements specification for engineered processequipment (including different technologies such as direct flowfiltration, tangential flow filtration, chromatography etc.

usedin the Biopharmaceuticalindustry.

As technicalpartner of a project team discusses, propose, define finalengineered technical system solution with the customer includingwriting technical part of quotation and associated costing.

AfterOrder placement execute the proposed engineered system solutionbased on agreed and defined contractual specification together witha defined project team as project manager or processengineer.

The focus of theproject work is on standard system with customization and work inproject teams to provide unit operations for fully integratedsolutionprojects

Theessential requirements of the jobinclude :

BSc / MScor equivalent in Biochemical engineering, Process engineering,chemical engineering or equivalent. A higher degree or secondarydegree in a related subject would be anadvantage.

Minimum 2 yearsof experience of process engineering / project management ofdownstream equipment used in Biopharmaceutical manufacturingincluding large scale and complex projects involving theintegration of multiplesystems.

Experience in thedesign and engineering of process equipment for filtration,separation and purification equipment (direct or tangential flow,filtration, chromatography systems and columns etc.

used in adownstream & upstreamprocess.

Ability tocommunicate effectively on sophisticated technical / engineeringissues at the highest level with internal as well as externalcustomers.

Valid drivinglicense and the ability to travel up to 30 % ifrequired

Fluent in Englishand German would be aplus
