Our client is a successful private equity fund dedicated to climate impact investments. They are accelerating industrial decarbonization by investing in mid-sized climate solution providers and supporting their green growth trajectory.

The role is based in Munich, Germany and allows for a flexible home office arrangement. What the job involves
- Lead and manage all aspects of financial operations, epassing accounting, controlling, reporting, taxes,pliance, risk management, and administration
- Contribute to the development of financial strategies and long-term financial planning
- Provide insights and rmendations to optimize fund performance
- Oversee the preparation and delivery of budgets, forecasts, and monthly management accounts
- Create monthly reports for portfoliopanies, as well as investor reports
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Evaluate KPIs at the portfoliopany and at fund level
- Take responsibility for cash flow and liquidity management
- Supervise all payments and ensure the appropriate allocation of costs
- Handle all taxation matters, including VAT, corporation tax, and other fiscal matters, collaborating with advisers to ensure the most efficient tax structures are in place
- Supervise the annual audits for all group entities
- Manage data maintenance for portfoliopanies
- Assist in investor relations matters, ensuring transparentmunication with investors and handling ad hoc investor inquiries, as well as participating in fundraising activities
- Manage various administrative matters, such as payroll, HR, and other payments
- Ensurepliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Monitor and ensure adherence to ESG processes and reports ( SFDR)
- Continuously develop and optimize internal processes and structures
- Act as a contact person for portfoliopanies regarding selected financial matters
- Serve as a main point of contact for external service providers, such as auditors, tax consultants, and banks
Who we are looking for
- University degree in finance, business administration, or related disciplines
- Significant relevant work experience in a finance / controlling position within the finance function of a PE / VC fund
- Experience in creating financial statements
- Prior exposure to risk management andpliance is wee
- Outstanding accounting and controlling capabilities
- Excellent MS Office skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of regulatory matters, including Bafin and GWG, is beneficial, as well as experience within fully regulated funds
- Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to work
- Proactive and hands-on approach, accustomed to working independently, with an entrepreneurial mindset
- Team player with an open-minded personality
- Strongmunication and presentation skills, with fluency in both German and English
