Areas of responsibility
Your main tasks
You will be primarily responsible for developing new device and system controls as well as optimizing and developing new calculation and design programs to support sales. Specifically, this includes :
- Coordinating and managing software projects in the department
- Analyzing, defining, and independently developing software solutions for the development of new device and system controls and the support of existing ones
- Programming controls and display interfaces using VB.NET / Visual Studio / ST programming
- Testing of functionalities on modern HW and SW test stations
- Collaboration with agile international project teams (headquarters)
- Creation of technical documents for documentation
- Training and education of colleagues and customers in Germany and abroad
- 2nd-level support for our customers and service partners
Requirements profile
What you bring to the table
You have successfully completed your engineering degree with a focus on electrical engineering / automation technology or computer scienceYou have in-depth professional experience in the development and programming of control systems in the field of electrical engineering.You are familiar with (senior) project work and dealing with external contacts / customers, and this corresponds to your idea of a varied and exciting field of work.You have a careful, structured, and focused approach to your work.You enjoy working independently, but also as part of an internationally networked team, to develop solutions and process improvements and think outside the box.Very good German and English skills round off your profile.Willingness to travel approx. 5 percent of the time (headquarters in Italy for training and exchange, if necessary).Services & benefits
