Task Responsibilities :

  • Maintain safety of the Cargolux fleet of aircraft.
  • Maintain the required level of dispatch reliability of aircraft.
  • Design and certification of repairs and modifications
  • Maintain cost effectiveness in the maintenance, repair and overhaul of aircraft structures and components.
  • Support maintenance and production activities, such as inspections and modifications of Cargolux and customer aircraft.
  • Evaluate Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins.
  • Provide engineering services to other departments.
  • Maintain proficiency in aircraft structures and regulatory requirements.

Essential Requirements For The Position :

  • Masters degree in aeronautical or mechanical engineering.
  • Experience in an aeronautical environment would be considered as an advantage.
  • Strong IT background with proficiency in computer programming and 3D CAD / CAM applications.
  • Good communication skills with a consultative approach and proactive attitude.
  • Responsive and supportive in decision-making.
  • Flexible with working hours and willing to travel and occasionally work in other locations.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English, other languages will be an advantage.

    • Working Conditions :

  • Full time position based in Luxembourg on a temporary, fixed-term contract of 24 months
  • A Certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of positive selection
