About the Role :
My client, a leader in the machinery manufacturing industry, is seeking a skilled Head of Export Control to oversee and streamline export and customs operations. This role combines leadership, compliance, and process optimization to ensure adherence to international trade regulations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage the Export and Customs Control team both technically and disciplinarily.
- Serve as the Customs and Export Control Officer , implementing BAFA requirements for the ICP.
- Liaise with authorities, including customs and BAFA, ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Oversee tariffing, classification, export licensing, and customs authorizations.
- Develop and improve processes in customs clearance and export control.
- Provide training and guidance on customs and export control standards.
