For one of our clients, a leading financial services firm, we are currently looking for an Accounting Manager.
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Portfolio Accountant to join their team.
The successful candidate is responsible for managing and overseeing accounting activities related to client portfolios. This position requires a solid understanding of accounting principles.
Key Responsibilities :
- Maintain and reconcile portfolio accounting records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Prepare and analyse financial statements, reports, and performance metrics for investment portfolios.
- Monitor and report on portfolio performance, including tracking income, expenses, and capital gains / losses.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of transactions, including trades, dividends, and interest payments.
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings and regulatory reports.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews of portfolio accounting processes to identify and mitigate risks.
- Stay updated on industry trends, accounting standards, and regulatory changes.
