Responsibilities
As Procurement Manager at TeamViewer you are responsible for the sourcing and purchasing of goods and services essential for the company's operations. This role involves developing procurement strategies, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring that the procurement processes align with company goals. You will manage supplier relationships and ensure that procurement activities are cost-effective and compliant with policies and regulations.
- Create and execute procurement strategies that align with the company’s objectives, ensuring cost-efficiency and quality in all purchasing activities
- Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with key suppliers, negotiating contracts and terms to secure the best value for the company
- Develop and manage the procurement budget, ensuring all purchases are within budget and financial goals are met
- Continuously assess and improve procurement processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and mitigate risks
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, legal regulations, and industry standards. Identify and mitigate procurement risks
- Conduct market research into industry trends, pricing, and supply chain dynamics, using this information to make informed purchasing decisions
- Oversee the drafting, review, and management of contracts with suppliers, ensuring terms and conditions are clear and enforceable
- Monitor procurement metrics and provide regular reports to senior management on procurement activities, performance, and savings
- Work closely with other departments, such as Finance, ESG, IT Security, and Legal, to ensure procurement activities support overall business objectives
- This role may require occasional travel to meet with suppliers and attend industry events
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Procurement, or a related fieldProven experience as a Procurement Manager or in a similar roleFluency in German and in English is mandatory, additional languages are a plusStrong negotiation skills and the ability to manage supplier relationships effectivelyKnowledge of procurement software and toolsStrong analytical skills and attention to detailExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work under pressure and meet tight deadlinesExperience in IT Services, Consulting or any other industry with primarily indirect spendWhat we offer
