The Bruker Nano Analytics (BNA) Division, headquartered at Bruker Nano GmbH in Berlin, Germany, develops, manufactures, and markets analytical instruments for electron microscopes, X-ray systems and components, allowing materials characterization down to the nanoscale.
We are looking for an Export Control Specialist (m / f / d, limited for 24 months) to join our team in Berlin.
Aufgaben / Verantwortlichkeiten
The Export Control Specialist ensures compliance with all laws and regulations, ., embargoes or sanctions, related to the sale of Bruker products and services to international customers.
Additionally, he / she works to minimize delays in the processing and release of sales orders, and communicates any concerns expeditiously to colleagues in related departments.
- Monitoring and implementation of European and international export control regulations (including US)
- Review and approval of export-control relevant processes, including processing in SAP GTS and AEB, placing delivery blocks if necessary
- Independent and responsible determination and classification of goods and technologies in accordance with international export control regulations (export list, EU dual use, EAR, ITAR) in coordination with the responsible technical departments
- Monitoring of legal changes in the tariff / classification area as well as implementation in processing practice, processing of questions from the customs environment, origin of goods and duty preferences
- Coordination with relevant authorities, such as BAFA
- Close collaboration with other specialist departments, such as the compliance team, and monitoring of group-wide export control guidelines and standards
- Project-related, technical support as part of the implementation and / or further development of export control processes (also in the area of system-supported export control) and reporting.
- Identifying potential areas for improvement and cross-departmental coordination
Qualifikationen
- Commercial training in the industrial sector and / or additional training in the areas of customs or foreign trade or studies in the areas of law, economics or comparable areas related to export control
- Several years of practical professional experience in the customs and export sector and in-depth knowledge of customs law as well as business and legal knowledge
- Advanced German and English skills
