Head of Purchasing (m / f / x) | Thuringia

In this role you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of procurement experts. Both direct and indirect procurement will fall under your remit and you will have operational responsibility for selected material groups. Although this is a leadership role, you will expected to be extremely hands on and work on both a strategic and operational level.

Your responsibilities as ´ Head of Purchasing (m / f / x) ´?

  • Leading and developing a team of procurement experts
  • Development and optimization of sustainable end-to – end processes
  • Development of strategic purchasing approaches
  • Operational responsibility for selected material groups
  • Key figure based control and optimisation of the entire purchasing process
  • Cooperation with cross functional teams
  • Consistent monitoring and evaluation of supplier performance
  • Contract Negotiations and identifying saving opportunities.

Your profile as ´ Head of Purchasing (m / f / x)´

  • Expert in purchasing both direct and indirect materials, preferably in a regulated environment
  • Knowledge of SCM tools and, processes and software solutions
  • Cross process understanding to actively design and control process
  • Leader who is hands on and pragmatic
