Your tasks

You will be responsible for the legally compliant and smooth operation of the central landfill site, including leachate treatment and gas extraction. In addition, you will plan and manage the recultivation measures, take care of the aftercare and decommissioning of the landfill and be responsible for the energy supply and infrastructure at the site

In close coordination with the management, the finance department and the sales department, you will represent the company both internally and externally, in particular in negotiations with authorities and contractors in accordance with the VOB and VOL regulations

You will be responsible for an annual cost budget and monitor investments at the site

Your profile

You have successfully completed a degree in environmental engineering or a comparable field

You have several years of professional experience in the field of landfill or environmental technology

You have gained experience as a manager in comparable positions
