Senior / Lead / Staff Engineer (Germany-based company, remote in +3 / -3 of CEST)

In this role, you’ll be joining a small but mighty team of Senior / Staff level engineers with experience of building complex distributed systems that scale.
This startup was built by successful entrepreneurs that have already been there, seen it and built it, and backed by Germany’s leading VC’s and investors there is limited risk of joining them.
As an early-stage engineer to this business you will; be working on many different aspects of their product and also engineering culture.
In your role you will be involved in all aspects of product development from architecture and design to development and operations.
You will take ownership of projects end to end, collaborating with other team members to discuss and refine features.
This is a backend focused role building distributed systems with an API-first approach and integration heavy, so experience with building API’s and API first products is a benefit.
You will need to have experience with Typescript / Javascript, Node, AWS serverless and React and a background in building distributed scalable services.
This is a remote-first company with flat hierarchies and fast decision-making, with attractive compensation, employee stock options and benefits.
Salary - €100-140K -Depending on location / experience
Remote work- This is a German-based company but can hire anywhere as long as you can work +1 / -1 CET
