Tax Associate – Leading International Law Firm

We are currently supporting a human-sized law firm. Present in the BENELUX region, the firm has around 500 people in total. Established in Luxembourg for 10 years, they specialize in Banking and Finance, Corporate M&A, Investment Funds, Litigation, and Tax Law.

Our client enjoys an excellent reputation in the market due to their exceptional services. Their clientele is both loyal and prestigious, enabling lawyers to work on interesting cases for American, English, and local clients. The firm boasts a high level of expertise and provides a personalized client approach, fostering strong and lasting relationships.

While the work rhythm can be demanding, the firm offers significant flexibility in terms of scheduling and remote work. This allows each team member to organize themselves autonomously based on their work priorities.

Your Responsibilities | Law – Finance – Attorney – Tax – Regulatory – Law firm

You will represent clients in disputes with tax authorities, including audits, appeals, and investigations.
You will work with tax authorities to negotiate settlements, such as installment agreements or offers in compromise.
You will assist clients in meeting their tax obligations, including filing tax returns and maintaining accurate records.
Advising businesses on corporate income taxes, deductions, and credits will be a key part of your daily responsibilities.
Staying up to date on changes in tax laws, regulations, and case law that may impact clients will be crucial to your role.

Profile and Career Path | Law – Finance – Attorney – Tax – Regulatory – Law firm

You have 4 to 6 years of experience as a tax lawyer in Luxembourg, which is essential to ensure you are comfortable in your new environment.

Fluency in English and French is required to facilitate effective communication with both clients and colleagues.

Meeting deadlines is crucial in this role, which requires excellent organizational skills .

Strong communication skills are essential for building and maintaining strong client relationships.

You will earn a salary of up to 120,000€ gross per year , providing you with a comfortable standard of living.
