YOUR ROLE

  • Create ad-hoc, complex and regular reports that offer meaningful insights and data analysis to help various departments make informed decisions
  • Provide complex calculations and statistical analysis for decision-making processes, such as forecasting, trend analysis, and performance evaluations
  • Orchestrate and align the business unit requirements and integrate in a corporate data strategy to meet reporting requirements and generate business value
  • Provide clear guidance on the ESG requirements of data to the FP and BUs, under strong alignment with the Director Environmental Data
  • Serve as first point of contact and focal point for all data related requests in respective area of responsibility for internal clients, e. g. ESG Strategy, Provide subject matter expertise for the development of ESG automation
  • Create awareness and give direction to internal data owner to ensure external and internal ESG data (supplier data respective Master Data / activity data calculations) fulfills requirements in regard to right method, format, units, and result accuracy
  • Serve as a thought leader in the field of ESG calculation methods, staying informed about industry trends and best practices, and actively participating in industry forums, conferences, and initiatives to position Henkel as a leader in sustainability
  • Provide prospective footprint scenario options under application of diverse methods and models and compare their impact on footprint reduction while ensuring adequate baseline
  • Provide insight to ESG Business Process Designer for existing tools and use-cases to ensure new tools have build-in, automated data validation checks and prevent wrong data entries
  • Define Data strategy and roadmaps for reliable data
  • Work on ad-hoc projects and duties as required by management
  • Work in gremia and engage in advocacy efforts to drive ESG initiatives with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proactively enhance team capabilities through targeted employee development initiatives, fostering a culture of continuous growth and skill advancement and cultivate a collaborative environment within the team and drive cross-functional collaboration

YOUR SKILLS

  • Master’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Circular economy or related field
  • 10 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience with circularity related reporting and awareness of external reporting frameworks ( CSRD & ESRS), Plastic Treaty and Golden Design Rules
  • Expertise in data governance & data quality approaches are of advantage
  • Very high level of expertise in Corporate waste & packaging & circularity Accounting, including reporting standards and practical experience with business data owners
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire and empower individuals or teams to achieve common goals
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and demonstrated resilience in handling high-pressure situations and adapting to rapidly changing environments
  • A strong multi-tasker-capable of planning, organizing details while communicating effectively on all levels within the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate and influence within a multi-matrix organizational structure, effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive initiatives forward
  • Business Proficiency in English, German is a plus
