DAS UNTERNEHMEN

For a highly innovative,cutting-edge biomedicine and diagnostics start-up, we are currentlylooking for a COO to help the company achieving the nextmilestones. The company combines AI and data tech forrevolutionising biomedicine. Since the firm was highly R&D andacademia-focused, our client is ready to transform to become ascalable biotech business. As the COO (gn), you will be theinterface of the firm's academic foundation and its commercialambitions and make sure that operational complexities are managedand developed.

IHREAUFGABEN

  • You will translate thecompany's goals into actions.
  • You willrepresent the firm and be a contact person for external andinternal stakeholders on all operationalaspects.
  • You will evaluate and implement newsystems and install processes to manage growtheffectively.
  • You will establish operationalworkflows and coordinate the teamsaccordingly.
  • You will help develop (andexecute) plans for setting up independent lab infrastructure,including procurement of relevantequipment.
  • You will ensure that science andcommercial are aligned in order to achieve the company'sgoals.
  • You will support the hiring strategy andhelp in recruiting critical personnel.
  • You willimplement means for talent retention.
  • You willalso support business development in regards to pricing and otherrevenue models.
  • You will have an impact onstrategic partnerships.
  • You will have an impacton allocating funds and on the preparation of financial forecasts,budget planning, etc.

IHRPROFIL

Key Qualifications andSkills

  • Proven experience in anoperational leadership role, preferably in biotech, life sciences,or healthcare, ideally with a tech / AIbackground.
  • Demonstrated ability to scaleoperations and manage complex projects.
  • Strongunderstanding of regulatory and complianceframeworks.
  • Exceptional leadership andteam-building skills.
  • Financial acumen, withexperience managing budgets and contributing to financialplanning.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability toalign scientific innovation with commercialgoals.
  • Excellent communication skills and theability to represent the companyexternally.

    • PreferredQualifications

  • Experience withsetting up lab infrastructure and working with R&Dteams.
  • Familiarity with venture capitalexpectations and fundraising processes.
  • Abackground in science, engineering, or a related technical field isaplus.
