YOUR TASKS :

• Orchestrate diagnostic goals for the active software release in your responsibilities domain
• Analyze Systems together with the DRE with the main goal of implementing diagnostic objects for the software releases
• Support the Design Release Engineers (DRE) to create diagnostic object requirements for ECU, sensor and actuator for the respective software releases
• Participate in regular diagnostics meeting with the supplier
• Implementation of diagnostics objects in the tool Vector PREEvision (Diagnostic Layer) as per DRE requirement
• Create CDD files using CANdelaStudio and take ownership for the CDD delivery and update the CDD file according to supplier feedback

YOUR PROFILE :

• Experience in onboard diagnostics project
• Experience ideally in vehicle level system architecture development programs is preferable
• Good understanding of the entire vehicle architecture and in special with components in areas like Chassis, Telematics, Self Driving System, IPC or Infotainment
• Experience in diagnostics testing and troubleshooting
• Experience with UML / SysML languages and for example tools like Vector PREEvision is preferable
• Experience with Automotive Standards like CAN FD, UDS, ODX, OTX, DoIP
• Experience with Vector CANdela Studio and CANoe, CANanyzer or similar tools is preferable
• Well-developed conceptual skills and the ability to understand complex systems in order to develop creative and successful technical solutions
• Analytical and self-directed way of working as well as self-initiative, strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team
• Continuous willingness to learn and curiosity for future architecture generations (e.g. service-oriented architectures) and use of new technologies (e.g. Ethernet)
• Very good English language skills. German is preferable
