EIFER seeks an IT Service Desk Employee (m / f / d) - 1st Level Support.
The position is based in Karlsruhe with a duration of initially 2 years starting as soon as possible.
Founded by EDF and KIT in 2002, EIFER bridges science and industry, providing innovative energy solutions for a sustainable future.
Responsibilities
- On-Site Support : Direct assistance to employees on-site with IT issues related to computers, peripherals, and software.
- 1st Level Support : Initial receipt and handling of inquiries via phone, email, or ticketing system.
- Troubleshooting : Resolving basic technical issues in Microsoft environments, particularly Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 (e.g., Teams, Outlook, OneDrive).
- Ticket Management : Documenting and tracking inquiries in the ticketing system and escalating more complex issues to 2nd Level Support.
- Modern Workplace : Supporting the use of modern workplace solutions, including Microsoft 365 applications and cloud services.
Requirements
Completed IT education (e.g., IT specialist) or comparable practical experience.Initial professional experience in IT support, ideally in 1st Level or on-site support.Good knowledge of Microsoft environments, particularly Windows and Microsoft 365.Fluent German and solid English skills (at least B2 level).Service-oriented and friendly demeanor with strong communication skills.Team player with the ability to work independently.Contact
