Senior Lead Software Engineer
We are seeking a Chapter Lead in Software Engineering to join our clients dynamic team in the retail sector. This role involves managing and mentoring a team of 15 people (which is constantly growing), and contributing directly to software development.
The ideal candidate will balance leadership with hands-on technical work.
Responsibilities :
- Team Leadership : Manage and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
- Career Development : Provide feedback, support career growth, and conduct performance evaluations for team members.
- Hands-on Development : Participate in the design, development, and implementation of software solutions, contributing code as needed.
- Process Improvement : Enhance development processes, tools, and methodologies to improve productivity and quality.
- Architectural Oversight : Make strategic architectural decisions to ensure scalability, security, and performance of applications.
- Collaboration : Work closely with product development teams to align technical efforts with business goals.
- Tech Innovation : Stay updated with industry trends and technologies, promoting innovation within the team.
Qualifications :
- Experience : At least 6 years in software engineering, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.
- Technical Skills : Strong background in backend software development ideally in Rust / TypeScript. knowledge of AI / ML and SaaS applications is a plus.
- Leadership Abilities : Proven track record of managing and developing engineering teams with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Process Knowledge : Experience with Agile / Scrum methodologies and a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Salary range : €100,000 - €105,000 + €20,000 Bonus.
Total Package €120,000 - €125,000
