YOUR PROFILE

  • Degree in media design, media development communication design, computer science, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years in frontend development and UX / UI design (or similar proven track record)
  • Strong passion for digital products, the urge to make a positive impact with hands-on mindset
  • Creative problem-solving skills : curious about the problem and strong desire to build a solution
  • Strong design skills : user interfaces, user interactions, data visualization (e.g. large interactive graphs / diagrams, and design patterns
  • Deep understanding of user needs—especially from an application modernization expert and consultant perspective
  • Eye for quality : seeing the beauty in pixel perfection and clean code
  • Experience with design sprints, design thinking and user research (interviews, surveys, shadowing, usability tests)
  • Ability to balance speed with perfectionism and when to lean more towards one side, getting it into real users’ hands is the ultimate goal
  • Proficiency in prototyping (storyboards, wireframes, lo-fi sketches, hi-fi mocks, click prototypes, functional code prototypes)
  • Expert-level skills in Angular; familiarity with diagramming libraries
  • Good grasp of application modernization and willingness to learn more about challenges with legacy systems and their modernization to contemporary architectures
  • Good understanding in AI / ML (GenAI, Agentic AI) and eagerness to deepen your knowledge
  • Strong knowledge of web standards, accessibility, responsive design, and browser / server communication (REST, GraphQL, APIs)
  • Good understanding of microservices and micro-frontend architectures
  • Fluent English and German
  • Product- and user-centric mindset, with a passion for learning and growth

YOUR CHALLENGE

  • Build and continuously improve in-house products for experts and consultants to deliver first-class Application Modernization projects
  • Collaborate in cross-functional teams (PM, design, engineering, subject matter experts) to design, develop and extend product solutions
  • Combine your UX / UI design and engineering skills to ideate, prototype, and execute compelling product designs that solve user problems
  • Engage directly with users to understand their needs, pain points, and feedback, ensuring your solutions truly address their challenges
  • Rapidly build prototypes to validate ideas, test assumptions, and iterate until you’re ready for production
  • Innovate with AI, designing and building for AI-driven user experiences
  • Design and build reusable interaction patterns and experiences with a standardized design system
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues through debugging, research and investigation
  • Actively co-drive continuous improvement, learning and innovation within our UX guild
