This opportunity resides with Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) , a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. Summary

HII-Mission Technologies is currently seeking a EURASIA SME. This position supports a US Government customer at Ramstein AB(Kaiserslautern), Germany. The EURASIA SMEwill provide All Source expertise in the analysis of adversary capabilities and actions. This position will focus primarily on Eurasia requirements. The applicant should bring a record of experience in understanding US and foreign capabilities.

The ideal candidate for this role will reside within a commutable distance of Ramstein Air Force Base.

What You Will Do

  • Provide expertise in researching and writing all-source products for the customer, and will bring experience in Joint, DOD, and NATO regulations and publications.
  • Utilize relevant software programs to perform analysis of operational and tactical data and aid in maintaining information databases.
  • Research information and produce finished products, by customer priorities. Product development may be an individual requirement or may involve professionals and technical SME’s.
  • Analyze open-source information to produce assessments, articles, reports, special studies, and threat analysis. These deliverables will comply with customer formatting standards and suspense dates.
  • Produce finished, high-quality written and graphical information products, or data and insights in support of a common intelligence picture.
  • Determine classification or reclassification standards based on the intended audience.
  • Provide support or development of requests for information (RFI). This includes need availability, desired formats, stakeholders, timelines, and redirection of RFIs as appropriate.
  • Maintain or create applicable databases as the customer requires; formulate baseline data for trend analysis; utilize the appropriate data and toolsets to conduct threat analysis.
  • Fully support all applicable US Government (USG) and Department of Defense (DoD)programs and policies; including but not limited to Foreign Disclosure (FD).

What We Are Looking For

  • 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years’ experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
  • Must obtain Technical Expert Status Accreditation (TESA) for this position.
  • Prior, proven history in an intelligence profession with the US government or military specializing in all source analysis.
  • Must be a self-starter who can think, operate, and execute autonomously after receiving basic guidance and intent from a military lead. This role is not for someone who requires constant mentoring and guidance.
  • The ability to prepare professionally written documents, products, and briefing materials. Must bring proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Clearance- Must possess and maintain a TS / SCI
  • Preferred Requirements

  • Prior, preferably recent work history supporting US military operations in the European and African Areas of Responsibility.
  • Prior work history with USAFE-AFAFRICA as an intelligence professional - active-duty service member, government civilian, or DoD contractor.
  • Experience producing military deliverables such as Commander’s Update Briefs, analytical briefings or articles, Foreign Partnership briefings, desk notes / deskside briefs, and other typical written or graphical products.
  • A willingness to continue learning and improving, sometimes in the context of assuming new responsibilities or duties.
  • Candidate resides within a commutable distance of Ramstein Air Force Base.
