Junior Demand Planner (m / f / d) - Hamburg

The Junior Demand Planner is responsible for developing and maintaining accurate demand forecasts for a specified period (typically several months into the future) to ensure optimal inventory levels, meet customer demand, and support supply chain efficiency. This role involves close collaboration with various stakeholders to gather insights, analyze trends, and refine forecasts to drive business success.

Demand Forecasting : Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using statistical models and market intelligenceForecast Accuracy : Continuously monitor forecast accuracy, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions to improve, forecast reliabilityInventory Management : Ensure optimal inventory levels by aligning demand forecasts with inventory planning and management strategiesData Analysis : Analyze sales data, market trends, and historical performance to identify patterns and make data-driven forecasting decisionsCollaboration : Work closely with assotment planning, MFP, sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to gather insights and incorporate them into demand forecastsReporting : Provide insights on forecast accuracy, demand trends, and inventory levels for management reviewContinuous Improvement : Identify opportunities for process improvements in demand planning and implement best practicesWE DREAM - This is what we dream of :
You hold a university degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Statistics or similarYou have at least 1-3 years of experience in demand planningYou have a strong ability to analyze data, identify trends and make data-driven decisionYou are precise in reviewing data and forecasts to ensure accuracyYour excellent verbal and written communication skills in English help you to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and cross-functional teamsYou are flexible and able to adjust forecasts based on changing market conditions and new informationYou proactively identify issues and implement solutions to improve forecasting processesYou are proficient in Microsoft Excel and demand planning software and you are familiar with business intelligence tools (e. g.
