Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization :
Ensuring correct and daily execution of key responsibilities in the Treasury Back Office according to the requirements of Group policies, procedures and guidelines, and according to the Group Finance Manual for specific area of responsibility
Supports organizational effectiveness through communication with banks and identification and communication of process improvement opportunities

Key Responsibilities :
Assist the supervisor to partner with the business within the assigned area of responsibility
Communicate actively with banks and verify the outstanding bank transactions
Post accruals for interest
Ensure that correct treasury deals are confirmed timely and incorrect deals are appropriately reported for correction. Post verified and confirmed deals out of treasury-system in SAP.
Check postings made via Quantum Treasury Management System and day-to-day processes and work actively on issue resolution (e.g. months-end close, posting of journal entries)
Control an electronic signatory and access rights for bank accounts for all subsidiaries managed by the FSS
Control opening of new bank accounts including administer the signatory rights
Ensure that the bank account manager database is maintained ongoing
Maintain Banks in Treasury Management System for all Group companies
Actively participate in Group Treasury projects, support the implementation of findings and sustainability of achievements
Create, review and execute daily deal-reporting according to EMIR-regulations (European Market Infrastructure Regulation)
Execute and archive EMIR-portfolio-reconciliation; follow-up on findings from portfolio-reconciliation
Actively participate in Group Treasury projects, support the implementation of findings and sustainability of achievements
Control electronic signatory and access rights in BAM for bank accounts for all DACH companies

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications :
Good IT Skills (Microsoft, SAP)
Industrial or Business apprentice
Minimum of 3 years practical accounting experience
Good knowledge of general accounting rules (IFRS / local GAAP) and experience with auditors and year end closing
