Implementation Specialist (Payroll)

BrilliantIN Recruitment are looking for a Payroll Implementation Specialist for their client based in Frankfurt, Germany.

The role can be worked from Frankfurt or remotely in Germany. The new hire will be expected to run on a 3-3-3 model (3 payrolls at data gatherings, 3 at payroll builds and 3 at live) so 9 payrolls at one time will be the usual workload.

The primary responsibility of this role is to lead the implementation of ongoing payroll teams and ensure the successful delivery of German payroll implementations within scope, timelines, and contractual requirements.

Reporting to the Regional Director, you will also be responsible for coaching and training employees to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and provide seamless customer service.

Additionally, you will execute new clients and projects to timescales and budgets, provide quotes to all payroll clients for services and ad hoc work, build and maintain internal stakeholder relationships, manage customer relationships and service delivery in Germany, and ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.

As the Payroll Operations Lead, you will have a significant impact on the success of the payroll operations.

Key Responsibilities : Coordinate the department's workflow and distribute work evenly across the teamEnsure the delivery of high-quality, responsive, and efficient serviceMaintain accurate resource plans and plan future resource requirementsPrioritize project activities and ongoing operations with guidance from the Regional DirectorAct as an escalation point for team members and customers, providing support and directionManage absence and employee holidays to ensure adequate resourcingDevelop training schedules for the Payroll Teams for continuous career development and business improvementsEnsure timely and accurate invoicing, coordinating with the Finance Department for continuous improvementMaintain company quality and data security standardsDevelop and maintain the relevant Business Management System in the RegionParticipate in recruitment and selection of new team membersIdentify and deliver training requirements for individuals and the teamPerform employee annual performance appraisals and identify training needsReview payroll processes for efficiency improvements and present business cases for changeBuild and maintain strong relationships with customersEnsure effective communication plan within the regionEnsure a safe working environment and address health and safety concernsBe involved in commercial proposals generated by the Payroll DepartmentIdentify improvements and new technology to improve the Payroll Department's efficiencyStay up to date with German legislative changes

Important to note : The salary for this role is c€80,000No direct reportsMust be a Native / fluent German speaker
